The Clerk-Treasurer's Office combines the offices of City Clerk and City Treasurer. The Clerk-Treasurer works under the general direction of the Mayor and is located in the City Hall Annex.
The department performs a variety of routine and complex supervisory, clerical and administrative duties including, but not limited to, directing all activities related to the City's official records and financial transactions.
Responsibilities include monitoring the City budget, supervising personnel, managing the department budget, preparing financial reports and records, monitoring investment of City funds, records management, human resources & payroll, risk management/claims processing, business licenses, and City Utilities, which include water, sewer, garbage and recycling.
