Thank you for your interest in Woodland Fire Department. Our application can be downloaded from the Forms, Documents and Maps page under the Fire Department heading.

Please submit completed applications in person to 100 Goerig Street or by mail to Woodland Fire Department, Attn: Kevin Saari, P.O. Box 9 Woodland Wa  98674.

Please include the following required information: (incomplete applications will not be accepted)

  1. Copy of a Valid Washington State Drivers License
  2. A current and complete 5-year driving abstract ( or for as long as you have been driving if less than 5 years)
  3. Copy of High School Diploma or GED

The entry process will include a background check, physical and drug screen, general knowledge written exam, physical abilities test and oral interview. Should you receive a letter of acceptance from the department, you will be formally introduced by the Fire Chief to the City Council, Mayor and citizens at a Woodland City Council meeting.
