Introduction & Community Vision (V)

Chapter 1 of the City of Woodland Comprehensive Plan is the "Introduction & Community Vision" element of the plan. Initially drafted in 2016 as part of the comp plan writing process, this chapter lays out the guiding Woodland's vision and principals for the future.

As part of the 2023 update, the community is being asked to review this chapter and provide input as to whether they think it still represents the community. Attached below is a copy of the chapter with grammar and format corrections, and any updates information staff felt were needed to bring it current. 

At an open house on May 4th, 2023, staff prepared the attached slides for the community to review so they could provide comment. Those public comments have been recorded and can also be found below. These comments, the text of the chapter, and the slides will be forwarded to the Planning Commission for review at their next regularly scheduled meeting on May 18th, 2023. The public is invited to attend that meeting and provide additional input at that time.
