Civil Service Commission (Volunteer)

The City of Woodland has a vacancy on the Civil Service Commission. This is a volunteer position and the appointed person will be filling a six-year term. The Commission is responsible for decisions relating to the police department for the City as prescribed by the Revised Code of Washington (RCW41.12). This position is appointed by the Mayor and subject to the approval of a majority of the city council.  Details on the commission duties can be found at www.ci.woodland.wa.us WMC 2.28.

Residency Requirements (Per RCW 41.12.030):

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be a United States Citizen
• Must live within the City of Woodland city limits
• Must have lived within the city limits for 3 years or more
