Notice of Workshop and Public Hearing - Planning Commision

Notice is hereby given that the Woodland Planning Commission will be holding a workshop and hearing to discuss work that staff has done in partnership with the Washington State Department of Commerce in analyzing the City’s planning documents for climate vulnerabilities relevant to the City of Woodland. Presenters will provide an overview of potential climate impacts and climate vulnerability issues that Woodland could face, and identify policy changes that can make Woodland more resilient and build readiness for climate impacts such as extreme heat and increased flooding. Meeting participants will have the opportunity to review and discuss draft resilience policies for consideration with future comprehensive planning efforts. Interested persons may appear and be heard at the public hearing to be held February 16, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at 200 E. Scott Avenue, Woodland WA.

Other written or oral testimony may be presented and considered at the regularly scheduled commission meeting.
