Utility Billing Letter Update Oct. 7, 2022

With the recent change in utility billing, it has been noticed a quick turnaround for payment of bills is being asked. We understand the impact this can have on a monthly budget. Through this transition to monthly billing, we have asked you to pay three months of billing in two billing cycles (2x45 day billing cycles)

As we move forward into our first 30-day cycle, we want to make sure the impact during this transition is at a minimum. The city will be waiving all late fees through January 2023. We know making financial plans quickly can be difficult. This waiver should allow for households to pay a portion of utility bills and get in track for the January 2023 billing cycle.

We hope this adjustment to monthly utility billing becomes smoother and the waiver of fees will help in planning household budgets.
