The applicant is requesting changes to the Multi-Family Residential Zone including to allow for smaller setbacks; smaller lots sizes (from 1,900  sq. ft. to 1,600 sq. ft.); and to clarify that single-family residential structures are allowed one "per lot" not one per "site".  

Status Updates

A notice of application, including the City's SEPA DNS, has been posted and distributed. 

The Planning Commission heard the request at their September 21st, 2023 regularly scheduled meeting. Their recommendation was for the city council to approved the request with minor changes.

The City Council will have a workshop on October 2nd, 2023 and it will be presented as an ordinance at their October 16th, 2023 regularly scheduled council meeting. Ordinance #1541 was adopted on December 4th, 2023 and is now in effect.
