Update June 17, 2022

W Scott Railroad Crossing will be opened for Planter's Days Weekend, June 17- June 19, 2022. Starting on Monday June 20, 2022, W Scott Railroad Crossing will be closed until June 29, 2022. 

Update June 3, 2022

Good News! The Davidson railroad crossing will be back open this evening. The West Scott Ave Railroad Crossing will be closed for repairs on Monday, June 6, 2022 - Friday, June 17, 2022 and will reopen for the weekend for Planters Day. Then West Scott will be closed again June 20 - June 27, 2022.

The Davidson Ave railroad crossing reopening date has changed due to the weather. The new opening date is now June 4, 2022.

Update May 18, 2022

The Davidson Ave railroad crossing will reopen May 28, 2022. The W. Scott Railroad crossing will be closed for through traffic May 31 - June 10, 2022.

Update May 9, 2022

The Davidson waterline crossing will tie into the Goerig waterline on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at approximately 8AM. This will affect the water customers on Goerig Road. Water will be turned off for approximately 16 hours, thus until midnight May 12, 2022. If you have questions regarding the water being turned off, please contact Public Works.

Davidson Avenue Railroad Crossing will be closed to all traffic till May 20, 2022. Please use alternate routes. The Scott Avenue Railroad Crossing is open, but there may be delays during the day.

The road will be closed on West Scott Ave until further notice between N Pekin and Down River Drive. Please refer to the map below and use alternate routes. 

Update March 18, 2022

West Scott Avenue Railroad crossing will be open for thru traffic on the East Bound Lane Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 3:00PM when flaggers are on site. The road will be closed for thru traffic after hours when flaggers are not present and on the weekends. Please use alternate routes.

Road Closure for West bound traffic on West Scott Ave starting on Monday, February 28, 2022 through Friday, March 25, 2022.  West bound lane will be open on the weekends and only closed during the week. Please use alternate routes. For detour routs, click on the maps below.

The railroad waterline crossing project has begun as of Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Contractors will start with the railroad cross on West Scott and then move to the Davidson railroad crossing. Please expect construction delays and use alternate routes. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Public Works Department.
