PROJECT INFORMATION

The Wastewater Lift Station 8 Upgrade project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of the lift station upgrade including installation of bypass pumping facilities, demolishing of the existing equipment and structures, installation of two new Owner-furnished submersible centrifugal pumps in the existing wet well, construction of a new valve vault, coating of the existing wet well and new valve vault, construction of a new force main connection to the existing force main, construction of new top slab with access hatch for the existing wet well, installation of an Owner-furnished control panel and appurtenances, and furnishing and installation of all other electrical, instrumentation, and telemetry work.

WORK TIME FRAME

The Work shall be substantially complete within 50 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Woodland, Washington.

SITE VISIT

A pre-bid Conference is scheduled for Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 11: 00 A.M. The conference will begin at the City of Woodland Public Works, 236 B Davidson Avenue, Woodland, Washington. Prospective bidders are encouraged to participate. No other site visits will be allowed.

PROPOSAL DUE DATE

Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Woodland, 230 Davidson Avenue, Woodland, Washington 98674, up to 2:00 p.m.; local time on Tuesday, March 21, 2023

The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashier’s check, or Proposal bond payable to the “City of Woodland” and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Bidders are encouraged to register in order to receive automatic email notification of future addenda and to be placed on the Bidders List.
