RFB-2023-West Scott Ave Asbestos Cement Waterline Replacement

Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Woodland, 230 Davidson Avenue, Woodland, Washington 98674, up to 10:00 a.m.; local time on Friday, April 21, 2023, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the Guild Road and West Scott Avenue Improvements (Schurman Way to Pacific Avenue).

The Contract provides for the installation of approximately 1,300 feet of 12-inch C-900 PVC water main on West Scott Avenue from Down River Drive to Pacific Avenue. Improvements include, but are not specifically limited to, abandonment of existing asbestos cement water main, installation of valves and fire hydrants, reconnection of existing water services, connections to existing system, traffic control and other miscellaneous items as further shown, described, and indicated in the Contract Documents.  The project needs to be completed prior to August 1, 2023, to facilitate completion of a road project under separate contract.

The Work shall be substantially complete within 30 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed.  All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Woodland, Washington.

The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above.  Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents.  All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashier’s check, or Proposal bond payable to the “City of Woodland” and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.

Financing of the Project has been provided by City of Woodland, Washington.  The City of Woodland expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
