NOTICE OF OPEN HOUSES & PUBLIC MEETING FOR THE UPDATE OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

Notice is hereby given that the City of Woodland will be holding a series of open houses, workshops, and public hearings to discuss the 2023 update to the City of Woodland Comprehensive Plan. (CPA-23- 001 and SEP-23-003) There will be an open house on the first Thursday of each month and the Planning Commission will hold workshops and public hearings at their regularly scheduled meetings on the third Thursday of each month. A complete schedule can be found on the Community Development Comprehensive Plan page at www.ci.woodland.wa.us with the first topics being:

  • Parks & Recreation and Climate Resiliency elements (Open house April 6th from 6–9 pm
  • Public Hearing on April 20th at 7:00 pm). Intro & Community Vision
  • Public Involvement elements (Open House May 4th, 6–9 pm with a workshop on May 18th at 7:00 pm and a Public Hearing on September 21st at 7:00 pm).

All comments will become public records without editing or redaction so please do not provide information that is sensitive to release. Written comments will be posted on the project page regularly and the record will remain open until the conclusion of all public hearings for the project. Copies of PC recommendations will be made available on the project page for each element and upon delivery of the recommendations to the City Council. Open houses, workshops, and public hearings will be held at the date and time listed above, at the Woodland City Council Chambers, 200 East Scott Avenue, Woodland, WA as well as streamed virtually using Zoom and may be joined by computer, tablet, or smartphone.
