Concealed Pistol License

CPL Application Process

To apply for a concealed pistol license through our office, you must:

  • Reside within Woodland city limits or outside Washington.
  • Be over the age of 21.
  • Provide current photo identification with your current residential address and your expiring CPL (if renewing).

Nonrefundable Fees

All fees are to be payable in cash (exact change) or check only.

Original License:             $49.25
Renewal License:            $32.00 – 90 days prior to expiration and up to expiration date.
Late renewal License:    $42.00 – from date of expiration to 90 days after expiration.  
Replacement License:    $10.00

License Descriptions

Original Application:  If you have never applied or your previous one is expired by more than 90 days.  Original CPL applications are done by appointment only.

Renewal Application:  You can renew your concealed pistol license up to 90 days before expiration. You may apply for a renewal at our office during normal business hours. 

Late Renewal Application:  You can apply for late renewal of your concealed pistol license up to 90 days after expiration.  You may apply for the late renewal at our office during normal business hours.  

Replacement Application:  You can apply for a replacement concealed pistol license if your current CPL has been lost, stolen, or destroyed or if you need to update your address. You may apply for a replacement CPL at our office during normal business hours.

Renewing CPL by Military Personnel

Military personnel who were unable to renew on time as a result of out-of-state deployment/assignment may qualify for an exemption to the 90 day renewal time limit.  Military applicants must apply within 90 days of returning to Washington and provide proof of deployment/assignment dates.
